Hey Ladies! What a roller coaster the last 2 weeks of my life have been! DD was diagnosed with her first ever ear infection. We caught it at the beginning, so that's good. She was on penicillin for 9 days, but ended up getting croup from my niece, so we went to the dr. Sitting there, at the dr.'s office, I discover this rash, ALL OVER. Turns our she's allergic to penicillin. So, we've stopped the penicillin, she took 2 doses of decadron, (steroid treatment for croup) and LOTS of benadryl! She is now in the stage on getting all the crud out of her throat left over from the croup! And, still working on clearing up her rash. We've been to the dr 3x in less then 2 weeks! And we find out our insurance is inactive through dh's job, because in 2004, he didn't work a FT week! So YEARS later it laps, and we have to pay 500$ out of pocket to get coverage for DD and I. EEEeeekkkk. DD appears to be better today, but we'll spend our time working on this rash! Oh- did I mention I am car-LESS? Hate that! We are on the mend, and that's all that matters to me!!

I hate when kids get the sickies!!! It is going to be a looooooooooong winter. I hope she feels better soon. I'm allergic to penicillin too. Most clinics or hospitals will set up a payment plan- low amounts too, so don't worry too much on that- hopefully she feels better soon!
