I like to exercise, but I don't know if it's because I'm getting OLD or what but I am so, so sore after a hard workout. It's really frustrating actually, to have a great kick-butt workout and then be hobbling around the next day like I'm 83 years old. I work out on a regular basis and once a week I try to do a really challenging class at the gym. But I can barely walk the next day. I know some soreness is fine, but seriously? It's ridiculous. Does anyone else have this problem?

Ijust mentioned this in another post about sore legs, but my doc always told me when I was sore (at the time I had RLS and other muscle pain) that upping my potassium and electrolytes before bed would help ease the pain! She recommended bananas and gatorade which was fine with me because I love both! and it worked!

Bananas and gatorade it IS. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm going to try that FOR SURE after my next kick-butt class.

Make a Whey Protein Shake with the protein powder with milk/or water and drink that after your workout. It will help your muscles be less sore and give you that added protein.
