So we've been talking in today's thread about Kim Kardashian's alleged divorce application today. What do you think about this? Any Kim K fans out there?
I think it's pretty pathetic ... to have that huge wedding and all of the hoopla and then not even TRY to make the marriage work, seriously? Just sad. Not surprising, but sad. I think that marriage should be more special--not Britney Spears' 48-hour marriage or other craziness that some Hollywood people do seemingly for publicity and money and to get their names in the gossip rags.

I think it's really hard to know exactly what is going on, since they are such an "In the publicity" family. I have heard tons of stories about them in the last few weeks. I'm an avid 107.1 listener. Mostly, they depict Kris as the bad guy. Going out to parties, letting girls hang on him, etc. I've also heard that he just doesn't like the Kardashian lifestyle of the cameras up in your face all the time. I don't blame him, but he had to know what he was getting into in the first place. Definitely not saying that Kim is innocent. Everyone deserves to be happy. I think Kim is married to the cameras. I know that would definitely not be the lifestyle for me. LOL!

Not surprised! I love Kim K, and was honestly quite surprised that she dated him, let alone married him! I actually went to school with him (7th grade lol) He was in a few of my classes and he was such a prick! How he's portrayed on tv, is EXACTLY how he is...very rude, arrogant, conceited and was just a bully.

He comes off as rude, mean, obnoxious, self-centered (worse than a Kardashian) on the show. I haven't been able to stand him!

Very interesting. I was feeling kind of bad for the Humphries family ... to have to deal with all of that TMZ-junk and then to have to deal with the fall out now, that's got to stink. But I admit I have no idea what he's like as a person, never met him, haven't heard what he's like ... 'til now!

I don't really like either of these people. I think she faked the whole thing....I really can't stand her.

I just don't get the Kardashian "thing." Out of curiosity, what makes you ladies who are fans love them? It seems to me like they're just famous for being famous, they don't DO anything (charity, art form, etc.) ... so I'm kind of curious. Is it just fun to see how the 1% live? Like a window into the "wealthy and famous" circle?

I think it was ALL just a publicity stunt. Yeah they spent a ton of money on the wedding, which was RIDICULOUS!!!!! And then on top of it, they broadcast it all over E! Now they're getting divorced? How much money do you think BOTH families are raking in right now. All this whole thing is is a matter of greed and power. It infuriates me!

What really gets me is when people will say that gay marriage destroys the sanctity of marriage, but they don't stand up against a 72 day marriage or all other hollywood sham marriages that have happened.
To me two people who love each other and want to make a public commitment to each other is a wonderful thing....and the Kardashians and others are the ones making a mockery of marriage
