I have had people ask how it went. It went well! I lost 3 pounds since the 14th without doing much- ovulation maybe?LOL
1500 calorie diet. I have to start a food journal. Chew food to applesauce consistency, avoid liquids right before, during and after meals for 30 minutes. Portion control, NO SNACKS and 3 meals a day with protein. I was given the go ahead to have a meal replacement shake for bfast- along with a fruit. So I went and bought some huge tub of a whey protein mix at GNC after. I will begin that tomorrow. I can add yogurt, fruit etc. I also got some refrigerated one already premade for on the go.
I got many hand outs of examples I can eat. All looks pretty easy. For example a lunch 2 protein- 2 oz deli turkey 2 starch- 2 slices of whole wheat bread 1 veggie (1 cup raw) 1 fruit (1 cup s.berries) 2 fat (2 tbsp of dressing or 2 tsp or mayo) I will be having 1 tsp of mayo so I can dip my veggies in a ranch. That does NOT sound like bad meal!!! Thanks for the support guys!

Sounds great Love!!!! You can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH is big on protein shakes and bars. We buy pre-made shakes and bars at Sam's. Powder at Walmart. It takes a bit to find your faves. Some are gritty or taste like carboard!

We buy our whey protein from Sam's club and they are pretty tasty!

Kinda hard to get all of it to mix up though so I use the magic bullet when I make mine.

I made one today and it was really really good. Not sure if it will help keep me not hungry but bay steps. I made one and drank it and that is a great start.

I need to do this too......I need to focus on eating only healthy foods and not the bad stuff when I am stressed.....you motivated me. Tomorrow I will start tracking food again and focus on protein, fruits and veggies
