Italian Crock pot Cream Cheese Chicken 4-5 chicken breasts 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 cup of chicken broth 3 gloves of garlic, crushed 1 8 oz package of cream cheese 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
Combine cream of chicken, chicken broth, garlic and seasoning mix in crock pot and stir well. Place chicken on top and cook until chicken is done. 3-4 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Remove chicken and shred. Then put in back in. Add cream cheese. Cook on high for 30 minutes until cream cheese is melted and mixed in well. Serve over noddles, taters or rice.
I did mine a little different this time. I got some Philadelphia cooking creme in Italian Cheese and Herb so I left out the seasoning packet.

If you use the cooking creme I would cut the broth in half, it turned out a little runny.
I've also seen it done with 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and leave out the broth.

Is the cook times accurate or is the chicken done sooner?

I would say it's done a little sooner.
