I'm worried that you guys will put all this money into the house to fix it and make it livable then the "friend" will kick you out as renters and sell to you. As it is it isn't fair that he will charge you full market value after you put in all the sweat equity. I don't trust this "plan."

I don't trust this either and nobody will listen to me. I tried talking about it yesterday but husband says this is how it is because we are using his credit and he need to make something off of it. Do you really think it is a true friend if they are trying to make 70 grand off of you?

I am with Angel on this one. I don't trust this "plan" either. This could go sooooo very wrong for you guys. Not only are you already taking a lot of risk and money out of your own pockets for the way it sits now but if this friend gets upset with you or something he could throw you out after you do all the fixing and not only get free supplies and labor but be able to sell and make a profit to anyone he wants.
If you don't trust this plan either Cissy you shouldn't do it.....and if you do I wish you luck and hope everything turns out ok.

Oh I am not doing it, I am not signing anything, the husband is doing everything, and I with no money will not be loosing out on that part either, the husband has to put the money into it. I will bleach the entire bathroom if I have to so I do not pay for new things. I will take our current stove and fridge over the new house if I have to.
