I made up some songs-- usually just a few lines to familiar tunes. Kids still like them (2.5 and 10 now)

I sang whatever popped into my head at 2am in the morning! Including the Itsy Bitsy Spider and the Star Spangled Banner and Amazing Grace! LOL

Yes, sang to him every single night! I usually sang the ABC's, itsy bitsy spider, twinkle twinkle, row your boat, you are my sunshine, and a handful of made up songs. What's funny is even to this day if DS is having a hard time falling asleep, all I have to do is sing a couple of those songs and he calms down in an instant!

Hush Little Baby Not the right words! but I still sang to them! Now I have one in the Bachelor of Music program at Concordia-Morehead and one a vocal performance minor at St John's University. Hopefully, it rubbed off!

Yep, when it was just me & her and nobody else was around. I'd just sing whatever was in my head at the time or I'd have music on and sing along with it to her.

Yup and I still do! When DD was really little I use to sing to her during feedings, usually You Are My Sunshine and Hush Little Baby. Now we usually sing during the day anything from what's stuck in my head to Itsy Bitsy, Row Row, ect. She loves to sing songs that have hand motions with them.

I usually just make songs up. We also went through a phase where the girls would want me to sing them the "Demon Lullabye" that they love. Its about kids needing to go to sleep or the demons in their beds (that their mom let into the house) are going to eat them up. Sounds dark but we always laugh about it.

Amazing Grace was a staple for me. My favorite was one I made up to I'm a Little Tea Pot:
I'm a little baby cute and sweet, Here are my hands and here are my feet When I get all worked up, hear me shout, Rub my tummy or see me pout.
