My cousin is about 5 months pregnant with identical twin girls. They found out a few weeks ago that there are some complications: twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome and also placental inequality. Baby A looks good but Baby B is much smaller and struggling. My cousin underwent a laser surgery last night to divide the placenta so the twins aren't sharing anymore in case Baby B dies in utero. If she died and was still sharing with Baby A, Baby A could die or have severe mental retardation. So, now that they are separated, Baby B has less than 5% of the placenta. She has a small chance of survival so I would appreciate any prayers or positive energy you can give her. Thank you so much!

Thanks everyone! It must be working because yesterday's ultrasound showed both babies had good heartbeats. Please keep praying! They go back in on friday for an EKG and ultrasound.
