For those of you with multiples, I'm just wondering when you started noticing more interaction between your babies? I have 5 month old twins and they are starting to notice each other a little more now. Grabbing for each others arms, hands and faces and looking at each other a lot more now. Just wondering at what age that they might have started babbling back and forth a lot - like they know they are having a conversation with each other or just overall more interaction.

Wow. That was 18 years ago for me. I would say 5 months is about right. It just gets more and more fun watching them interact and bug each other. Enjoy!

I have a friend with twins who are about 6 months old and she just started noticing very recently that they are really noticing each other and smiling at each other and trying to chat!

Beth - ours will be 6 months on next week and they are starting to look at each other more. It's only going to be a matter of time now! DH said he does try to keep them close together during the day when they are both being calm and they will look to each. He will have one in the saucer and the other in the chair side by side.

Mine were really noticing each other at about 9-10 months. One went into total funk when other one was in hospital for a week at about that time. They were a little short of 3 months early, so I guess they would have been about 6-7 months if they had been full term. Now, at 25 months, and I have one with me for some reason (like a doctor appointment) and other one is at day care, Day Care Provider reports that the one left is very out of sorts and always looking for his brother and asking for him. One spending just a day with me all by himself without sharing of course doesn't miss his brother though.
