What are you getting your dh/so for Xmas?

My husband tends to go overboard with buying me a gift for Xmas... so I never know what to get him... plus I don't work and it'd just be like using his money to buy him something lol

I was just wondering what the guys are getting for Christmas this year? There is a groupon today for a 90 min. deep tissue massage for 55 dollars... I think hubs would love that, but I also don't want the credit card info to go onto our statement that he checks every day... I may just have to tell him not to look.. and then if he figures it out, tell him it's not for him haha.

That's tough--my DH always says he doesn't need anything----I give him a hint and he usually gets me what I want-- he has gone on his own and done very well too.
I have no idea what I will get DH

He does complain about the clutter and was thinking about getting an organizer to help me clean as that is some he would love to see....I still have a little of my own money...otherwise he would be paying for his own gift.

I don't think my husband minds so much that it's his money being spent.... I just always hope I'm getting him something he wants but will never pay for on his own.

I know-- ideally that's what I want to do-- anyone know someone who would want to help me clean and organize my mess (for $$)

I'm always supposed to make a list. Then between him and the kids I get everything on the list. Except then there really isn't a surprise at all.
I'm going to go to Kohl's on Thursday night at midnight and get him a new electric toothbrush and some cologne he's been sampling.

I always have a list.. but I add to it throughout the year! so he just picks things from that! haha.

We don't give presents to each other at Christmas. We just can't afford it after the 3 kids we need to buy for.

We don't give each other presents either. All of our money is "our" money so we don't have "his" or "mine". We would rather spend the money on other things so we each buy some small stocking stuffers and then we agree on one large item for both of us. Like this year we will probably get a tv for our bedroom.

Thats what I wanted to do, but dh is difficult. I wanted to send ds to grandmas and do a weekend in duluth or at the dells... mehhh.

DH and I are traveling to Florida together for a week as our Christmas gift to each other since he won't be home for Christmas. I'm sure we'll get each other a few other small gifts but nothing big this year.

I always feel odd buying a gift for DH because I do feel like I'm spending his money he worked hard for even though I know its OURs I still can't help but feel weird about it. DH is getting running gear and he already got the majority of what he wanted because he said he jsut couldn't run in this cold weather without it I caved and let him get it haha so now I'll just find stocking stuffers for him

We exchange gifts too, and this year I am stumped. My DH kind of wants a video game to play with his pal (they don't play it often, maybe twice a month). But that seems kind of random. Otherwise the things he wants are way too expensive for a Christmas gift (expensive camera, that type of thing) and out of our budget. I'd love to hear what other people are doing!!

Renee, keep your eye on sites like groupon, eversave and living social... I caved and got my husband a 90 min deep tissue massage for 50 dollars I think... if he sees it on the tcf statement I hope he lies to me and says he didnt. lol

Dh (Santa) is getting me good tennis shoes, heavy socks. Not sure what I am getting my dh yet.
