I have had acupuncture done, and I LOVED LOVED it!!! It helped with some current pain in my knees and some recurring nausea problems I'd been having...
Of course it wasn't forever lasting, but for a couple weeks I felt rejuvenated.
I was so skeptical, but went into it with an open mind and was really surprised with the results!!
Have you done it? What was the outcome? If you haven't, would you try it?

I tried it once and didn't notice much of a different besides feeling relaxed. Although I don't really have any lingering pain that needed to be taken care of. I'd be interested in trying it again.

I have done it once and loved it-- I had some lower back pain (sciatica area)-- and it helped for several weeks. My father has back issues and did acupuncture and it would help about 3x longer than chiropractor ( 3 days vs. 1 day) when his back was acting up

I would think it would def. make a difference too on who you go see... if you go see some regular doc that just happens to have certification in acupuncture, versus someone who has authentically been practicing the "art" of acupuncture their whole life.

I've been having it done 2-3 times a week now, this is my second week. I have a bad GERD flare up right now with coughing and wheezing for 3 weeks now, so I'm at the point of I'll try anything. I do know I wasn't able to sleep hardly at all at night with this cough and the first round of acupuncture I was able to sleep better at night. I still have the cough but it has improved, slowly.

I haven't been since I've lived in NY, but may try it again if I can find a good recommended place!!

I have thought about it --but never brave enough. I get freaked out by needles/ sharp pins.

the pins are about as thin as a strand of hair.. you can hardly feel it and it's so worth the teensy pricks.

I've seen it before but don't think I could ever do it.

I've treated many different things with acupuncture over the last 20 years and can't say enough about it. I absolutely love it!!! I've gone to the school in Roseville in the past and have had very good experiences there. It's on Co Rd B2 just west of Fairview Ave. Here's the link(I hope it works): www.aaaom.edu/ In recent years I have worked on and off with a highly skilled acupuncturist in Blaine, Kimberly Fritz of Green Dragon Acupuncture. Here's her link (I hope it works): www.greendragonacupuncture.com/

I did it a long time ago after a car accident. I actually loved it. It was really relaxing even though you're having a ton of needles poked into you. It really did calm me though, and heal some of my back pains.
