I finally got my wish I got a Digital SLR camera...Now What? I am overwhelmed by this thing. I know National Camera and video do classes $40 for 2 hours for each class. Has anyone ever taken this class or is there another class that anyone knows about? Anyone want to come teach me about this thing before Christmas?

Keep it on Auto!
I have wanted to take a class, but yet to have the opportunity to do so. And, I have had my camera for almost 2 years. At first, I hated it, because everything that I shot was aweful! I am hit or miss now. But, I shoot a lot! Usually, when Langston is in an activity, I get the most practice in! I know that Belle Plaine offers a Community Ed class, but I have yet to have the time to take it. In addition to having the camera, I also have an entire lighting system and backgrounds. I pull them out every so often, but still have no clue what the heck I am doing!
Sorry, I guess that I am not giving you any usable information...but I am just happy for you and the adventures that you will soon find with your new toy! Happy Camering!
