We usually do the larger gift. Or the one thing she wants REALLY REALLY bad so that way she kind of thinks "oh, santa IS real, he DOES know what I want!"

I told DH we'll be doing the stocking and one wrapped gift. He then ask's how they are going to know thats from Santa....well silly husband we can just tell them and they will understand lol. I also bought some special wrapping paper with santas head all over it! The one thing DD1 really wants is the Lotso bear from Toy Story 3...I plan on having that be from Santa...DD2, I'm unsure!

Santa really only brings stocking stuffers here. We celebrate Christmas Eve in my family so the gifts all come from each other. Christmas morning we open "Santa gifts" which are usually just small things. Since DH and I are usually out of town with the girls for Christmas I've taken to leaving the girls' gifts at home for them to find when we return. I'm not sure if they think that they are from us or from Santa, we've never really specified. In DH's family the Christmas gifts were always from Santa.

Last year I did the big gifts from Santa, then split the rest between us and Santa. This year they each asked Santa for 3 small things, so that's what will be from him and the rest will be from us. Santa fills our stockings also.

I usually go all out for Santa. Stockings stuffed full and a ton of presents under the tree. This year the budget is a little tight though so Santa wont be bringing as much as he (she ) usually does.

Santa brings one larger ticket item for each kiddo and then the stockings in our house. The boys (teens) have been really great about playing along for DD until she is done being a true believer
