People think we are nuts when ours is set at 72 most of the winter. What is yours set at? Does it change during the day vs night?

Ours is set at 70 but even if we were to set it higher the house would still be somewhat cold...its not the best. If we do get too cold we'll put some wood on the fireplace and at night use the portable heater and close the hallway door.

During the day and at night it drops down to 57. When we are home we keep it between 64-68 depending on how cold I am.

Ours is at 68. I usually would have it up higher since I'm such a freeze baby but DH gets mad when I have it up in the 70's sooo I'm not allowed to touch it lol

haha ours is usually set at about 72 as well! I try to remember to turn it down before I leave but I usually forget. I had it set at 72 last night and I was actually hot but it was on 68 before I turned it up and I was cold so who knows!

67, but I'm on the third floor and get a lot of heat from sunshine being on the south side of the building and rising heat from the other levels. It has kicked on in the last couple of weeks overnight.

I don't even have to have my heat on during the day.. we get enough insolation from the townhomes on either side of us, plus the sun coming in perfectly through our front windows.. it stay at 76. It is only on at night when the temps drop and that's the only time we have to set it at 76/77. That may seem hot to you, but it's actually still freezing in the two back bedrooms (where ds sleeps) because those two rooms r over the garage. I would have to put the air conditioning on if I ever wanted the temp to go below 71/72 degrees lol
I use one of those as seen on TV things under my doors and they work GREAT!! Plus we put plastic on the windows upstairs. Our heating bill has gone down considerably. I like not having to have the heat on from 6am til 11pm

Ours is between 68-70 during the day. 72 only when it's SUPER cold out like below zero! It goes down to 64-66 overnight.
