So I've been kinda mia on this site lately. It's because I've been working on a healthier me and I need to be away from the computer to get some walking and workouts in. I found this great website that is more than a nutrition tracker, it has great tips on how to be/remain healthy, a great place to blog about your struggles/triumphs, and a whole network of people who know exactly what you're going through with your fitness issues. I've been on it for 2 weeks now and I'm down at least 2 pounds and probably more because my scale is only so accurate, being a cheap dial scale. It's really helped me remember to eat at proper times with proper nutritional foods. It gave me an attainable goal and best of all it's FREE! I have an account and have never used it lol. My friend swears by this site...she has lost A LOT of weight and she looks fantastic! This site really helped her on her journey. I should sign back in and look at it again...I think I was confused on how to do things on there so I left it.

It does have a lot of things there to help you. Start by looking at the nutrition tracker for your food intake, plus you can input you exercise in the fitness tracker. Then take your time to look through the rest of the site. It's fairly self-explanitory and you can restart anytime if you stop it for a while.

I'd like to say Hi to the people who are joining me on the weight loss site. Feel free to add me as a friend when you join. So far I've lost nearly 15 pounds (I'm half a pound away from that goal) and have been at it for almost 2 months. It's the longest I've been able to keep up this way of eating. My emotions haven't taken over and I'm going after food logically. I haven't cut out anything, but have avoided any food I'd binge with (a whole bag of cookies, cheap chocolate, etc.). Thanks for all the support I've gotten so far from all the areas I've gotten it!

Weight doesn't come off easily, I've already had a plateau week, but did get back to the 1.5-2 pounds off a week I started with. Another 15 pounds and I'll be back at the "shoot me" weight I thought I'd never get above. I hope for as much success in anyone else who needs it as much as I've had so far.

Update: 2 1/2 months in I'm officially 20 pounds lighter and 1/4 of the way to my goal! Had to share, it's really exciting to me!
