So my toddler had the tear duct surgery last July and has been clear ever since. Now the past month that eye has been tearing/watering a lot. I called the opthamologist and they recommended she be seen to maybe do ANOTHER surgery. But now we have different insurance and have a huge deductible so I think I might just let it be for now. Anyone else have the surgery and wasn't successful (for a long period of time)? Quite frustrating to hear that it's successful "96%" of the time if you have it before age 2, so you hurry up and do it spend $1000 and then 6 months later it's back to watering. Hmm.
