I posted this on facebook as well, so sorry if this is a repeat for some of you. I have close to 100 purses... and that's after cleaning them out last spring. These are ones I'm not willing to part with even though I don't use them all. For those of you that have a lot of purses also; how do you organize them? I need a way to have them 'out,' and more accessible. Right now I have them (which is probably 1/2 of them at this point) in under the bed bags, but every time I go to get a new one, I either rip the bag a little more, or take the purse out, use it for a few days and leave it... somewhere.... I think my husband is getting a little annoyed! lol They are everywhere! Any tips or tricks you have, I'd love to hear them! Thanks ladies.

yah.. but clicking on all the "links" was making my computer slow, and it's been better since I stopped using it. A friend of mine just sent me a pinterest idea.. to add a closet rod under your clothing rod (obviously closer to the floor) and use clip hangers to hang the bags!! that could def. solve my problem if hubby is willing to hang the rods for me.

I saw a similar thing with the rod hanging at the TOP of the closet--depending on high your closet ceiling is. Since you're tall, you could get by with that.

Hi Sarah, Here's a Closet Doubler, and all you have to do is hang it on the closet rod like you do any hangers. They are at Walmart. www.walmart.com/ip/Closet-Doubler/5508741For hooks, I use metal shower hooks, open them, slide the purse handle onto the hook, close hook or leave open and hang from lower rod. Is this what you're looking for?

I like that, but I have a lot of clothes that hang lower than that.. so I'd need a rod that was closer to the floor.. but I love the idea of using shower hooks for the smaller bags maybe.. but I think the bigger ones would still need to be clipped on a hanger like pants so they diidnt take up lots of room.

Hi Sarah,
What about stacking/putting 2 closet doublers together so it would hang down lower, so there'd be 3 layers down to be nearer the floor?
At some Thrift stores (Saver's Maplewood) uses a heavy clip (reminds me of heavy pants clip, but only one clip per S hook) which has an S shaped piece through the top, to hang onto the clothes rod.
