In preparation to sell our house I really want to clean the walls. Does anyone have anything they have used before? Or should I just use hot water. I plan to clean from floor to ceiling as I have this starfibers.com/mops.php which extends very high and I would reach it. Thanks in advance!

I like the magic erasers but I don't know about reaching up super high.

I just use ot water and my organic chemical free all purpose cleaner. It would be a good idea to use one with sort of degreaser in it for the kitchen walls

A friend of mine just uses Dawn dishsoap and water every time she cleans her walls (and she does it after every party she has just in case someone decided to smoke in her house!)

I think Im going to try dish soap and HOT HOT water. I just hope it doesnt take the paint off! Our master bedroom was professionally painted some texture as it was a model home. That part I am scared of!

Vicki - That's is an interesting idea. How much vinegar per water? I always use water and soap but my walls aren't coming very clean. I think it is the type of paint that is on the walls.

Well I did our half bathroom downstairs the other day. I just plugged my sink of hot water and maybe 2 pours of vinegar. It worked really well and the walls look awesome. Only thing I was not thinking and got a few drops of water on the outlet. Bad me. I did rinse out the mop but it still dripped. No biggie tho!!
