I swear I shouldn't have even been allowed out of bed this morning!!!
garbage truck broke down outside bedroom window this morning, so it was quite loud for about 40 min. or so...
put contacts in after I got up, couldn't see and thought, OH it's the heat or I'm still tired... NOPE.. I had my husbands contacts in.
P has this Mickey Mouse shaped cheese that I'd been looking for and he'd been asking for, for a couple days... found it in the freezer this morning (and I'm sure it was me who put it there)
had an appt... was gonna leave early to get a caribou summer tea, but couldn't find my keys... looked for 20 min and eventually found them behind my husbands TOOL BOX in the garage.. uffda.
all was well til bout 30 min ago when my kid did poopies, so I told him I was going to change him. He jumped off the couch and actually laid down on the floor to wait for me.. but I didn't know he shoved 3 mini sugar cookies with sprinkles on them (grandma makes them for him) in his mouth.. was too peeved to notice apparantly..
once he realized he couldnt chew them all, he sat up and started choking and projectile vomited all over the living room floor (at least its wood)
I wiped his face, went to change the diaper and saw the dog eating P's puke... so as I was scolding the dog, P peed all over me... REALLY!
REALLY! I quit lol :-P The polar express it is!
my husband told me not to cook tonight and to stay away from the stove .. lol

I have these kind of days at least 2 times a week. The trials of being a stay at home mom I guess. I need a hour or so every night after the kids go to bed to decompress. On those days I need a little longer, hehe find some time for you!  |

That kind of a day has lasted for the last few weeks now. I can't wait for normal to come back.

Wow Sarah! I probably would have just sat down and cried or laughed....one of those moments. Hope you ordered pizza or something that you didn't have to do anything for.

Sounds like a rough day for you. Yes staying home is work. Glad you had a nice evening alone we all need that once in awhile.
