Hey Friends! My 1 year wedding Anniversary is fast approaching, and I'm not sure what to get my Hubby. The traditional is PAPER. I'd like for it to be personal. Any ideas? Thanks!

One of my friends bought really nice paper and hand-wrote her husband a letter about all the reasons she loves him and is glad to be married to him for their 1st anniversary

You could make a scrapbook of your first year together! My DH really liked that!

I agree, a scrapbook page of your first year together and if you do a 12x12 page they sell scrapbook square frames at Michaels. Or make some love notes and hide them around the house.

my husband is not the type to want love letters or a scrapbook page lol.. for paper.. I'd be more likely to get him a groupon for a spa treatment and massage

My DH and I must be lazy or something, I don't know!! We usually just have a nice date night, dinner and a concert or show or something more "splurge"-y than we would normally do. We exchange cards, but not gifts. Hmm. Guess we've been on tight budgets for so many years that we are used to the "no gifts/ cards and date night only" thing!!

This is what I was thinking. We got engaged and then went to the comedy club. So, I think Im going to get tickets to the same club, as well as get some risque photos taken and make a small scrapbook.(not nude, just sexy) I do the love note thing pretty regularly. I'd like to stick to the traditional gifts for our Anniversary.

Get him tickets to a concert, or sporting event or even a movie if you are on a budget. All these things are made of paper
