Anyone have tips for getting nail polish out of clothing? I'll google it but first wanted to see if anyone has experience in this area.
DD1, who is 8 YO, went to a sleepover birthday party a couple of weeks ago, and apparently the hosting parents let the girls do their nails with no supervision. (Sigh.) DD feels badly that she got nail polish on her outfit, but ... grrr ... it's still frustrating. It's a new, "favorite" outfit of course, so it's a bummer. DH was going to go buy her a new outfit and I said, "Umm, no. I think she needs to see the consequences of her actions," even though I also think that it was not exactly the best idea on the part of the hosts because of the girls' ages. DD should have asked for help, though, acknowledging that she can't really do her nails by herself. Not a huge deal, but it is still a bit irritating!

off skintastic... soak and use a toothbrush to scrub it... if it doesnt all come out, blot and let dry and repeat. If it's cotton it should work but if its a delicate mtaerial, the off may eat at the material... could also try soaking it in acetone (again depends on teh material because it'll eat through it...) ten minutes.. then wash by itself in washer.
