I just got a call, and a friend of mine, and her family of 8 (3, 8, 10, 11, 16) and 3 adults is coming for a visit this weekend. She was hoping to go to Valleyfair or Emma Krumbees. I told her how much Valleyfair was, and my honest opinion of Emma Krumbees...so we are now back to square 1.
Any ideas of activities this weekend (Friday/Saturday) that won't break the bank with that many people....and preferably not in the North Metro?!?

Como Zoo Boo?
I know you said not North Metro but it's the Anoka Halloween Light Up The Night Parade on Saturday. It's a cool night parade!
All the info for these is in the site calendar which you can find a link to in the header at the top of the page. Just click in the one you want more info on!

Waterpark with us? We can order pizza back in our hotel room. Just a thought. I would say ZooBoo too. It is 6 bucks a person- advance tix and 7 at the gate. We are going Sunday.

Driving from Belle Plaine to the North Metro is not driving across town! That is driving across the state! What you don't wanna drive across town? LOL! I don't blame you one bit...there is sever's corn maze down by you... which totally creeps me out, but I have issues... and if they are from out of town... MOA is always a good trip, hit up the microsoft store.. they have a super huge screen hooked up to the kinects game thing... for free! Legoland free... there are some great apple orchards just north of hastings... which is 46 east then north on 61... who are much more econimical than "Emma Krumbee's" and I agree that place is not worth the hype...

I have 2 5 vip passes to PINZ in Oakdale. Bowling and shoes. Might be a nice cheap way to bowl if you want them. I have heard PINZ is really fun, just never been there.

I second the MOA idea.. we went to the mirror maze a couple weeks ago and after we just walked around the mall, visited lego land, went to the amusement park, had dinner, etc. There's lots of stuff to do there!
