What has been your favorite book or book series that you've read this year?

For book series I liked the See Series and Insight series by Jamie Magee, they actually intertwined with each other and you have to look up the order, its like 3 of see 2 of insight then every other or something like that. Also the Visions series but Lisa McMann and The Otherworld Trilogy by Jenna Elizabeth Johnson
It seems this year was a lot of series I read rather then solo books that were actually good and worth mentioning to others.

Divergent was a great series... but hated the ending.
The burn series was awesome
And I can't remember if I read the Maze Runner series over this year or if it was last, but it was fantastic!!!
My favorite recent series was the Frost Chronicles... five book series with some mini books coming out sporadically.
There were a couple other series I've read also that were really good.. but I can't recall the names right now.
of single books... I've read Home Front and Fly away (sequel to firefly lane) by Kristen Hannah, those were both great books
And Don't go and Come home by Lisa Scottoline were really great also!!
It was definitely a great year for fantastic books!

I've read too many books to pick a favorite. I just enjoy reading books. I don't tend to read series.

I catch up on my TV shows instead of reading at night. I look at my grandparents and see how much they read and realize I'll have plenty of time to read later on in my life.

Lil I rather catch up on TV shows too! If there isn't anything to catch up on then I will read for awhile. Takes me awhile to finish a book though. I can't read while the kids are up because they are always talking in my ear and there usually is always something I want to watch.

I've been out of control reading lately. DD comes in my room after 11 pm and yells at me cuz it's past my bedtime. Then I don't get out of bed in the morning cuz I'm been up reading too late. I keep stumbling on good books and seem to get to the good parts when I'm supposed to be going to sleep.

I have time to read because I don't watch much TV. Parenthood is the only show I routinely watch. Being in a book club has helped to ensure I read at least one book a month.

I haven't had much time to read for pleasure since being back in school, hoping to get a couple books in during Christmas break. I'm going to look at this thread to get suggestions!!

Hard to pick one - I read so many great books this year!
All Souls Trilogy (Well, the first 2 books. Book 3 will be out this summer)
Home of The Brave by Katherine Applegate
Lev Grossman's Magicians series (Again, first 2 books are out and I'm waiting on the 3rd)
Les Miserables
