I love real trees, but with traveling for Christmas each year and not having someone close to water it regularly we have a fake. I do love that it's pre-lit.

Fake - I don't like the sap and the smell of the real ones.

Fake. I don't like the work involved in a real tree--watering, cleaning up, etc. I like my tree up for a long time and that's easiest with fake.

Fake. I do really love real ones but I just don't have the time to deal with it.

fake here too... with two kids and two dogs *one dog that would eat the pine needles* I don't want to have to worry about watering it and cleaning up after it... my prelit is perfectly pretty enough for us!

we did always have real ones growing up, but once my brother and I moved out my mom got a Charlie brown tree (fake one) and she loves it!

Fake. I need to buy a second tree for next year- one upstairs and one downstairs- because I haven't been able to use even half of our ornaments!

Real. Some years we go cut down a tree, but in the past couple of years we've had really good luck at a local nursery. They put a fresh cut on the tree, put the stand on the bottom of the tree (the first year we went there they just gave us one because we didn't know that part) and then tie it to your car.

Fake. After a house fire ten years ago, no real trees. I know it wasn't the cause of the fire, but we don't light candles either.

Sometimes we do real, sometimes fake. This year will probably be fake again.
