Yep...winter will be here. Tomorrow. I am very proud of myself because I am now ready! What do you do to prepare for winter?
I got Langston a new winter coat, boots, snowpants, two hats and two pairs of gloves in September.
I hadn't gotten around to gettitng the house ready for Winter, but I had no choice, and am very proud of myself for getting everything done tonight! Actually, I am very thankful that I was physically able to get everything done! I had to rearrange the garage so that I could get the van in the garage. Move the basketball hoop. And, bring the patio furniture in. Last year...it took me about a week to get it all done...

I don't really need to do much. Just have to make sure DD has everything she needs and make sure the deck is all cleaned off.

I don't do anything outside because SO takes care of all of that.
I do need to buy DS some new boots and gloves but he has a new jacket already.

We are putting can lights in our living room this week and then insulating the attic and putting plastic on the windows. We also need to get the snow blower out and make sure it runs.
DD just needs snow pants but I'm not too concerned about that yet.

we have the winter gear.. minus a snow suit, I'll get that for ds when he needs one.. IF he needs one... the grill goes in the garage, and the upstairs windows get covered with plastic!!.. gotta cover the adirondak chairs out front with a tarp this year... blech.. I was hoping mother nature would rethink winter this year!
