I have a lot of hardwood floors and it works great. I have had my Dyson for almost two years and have never had a problem with it.

It works pretty good for us, especially with having 2 cats! I really hate cleaning it out though. Breathing in all that nasty dust. Ick.

We just didn't feel like spending on the dysons. The only thing it doesn't like to suck up are the feathers from our parakeets.

Sold our "old" pet one. It still was great just wanted the new version and my mom wanted a Dyson. LOVE LOVE LOVE Dyson. Well worth the money.
