Have any of you rediscovered an activity, game, book, toy, etc. that you loved as a kid, grew away from or forgot about as you grew up, and then rediscovered when you became a mom?
I forgot how much I LOVED the Laura Ingalls Wilder books as a kid. My grandmother owned the series and I would borrow them from her and we'd talk about them. Now, reading them to my DDs, I'm taken back in memory to special moments with my grandma. It's also fun because it's been 20+ years since I've read the books and it's a joy to rediscover parts of the stories that I'd completely forgotten about.

My brother's favorite book used to be "Go Dog, Go" when he was little. My mom recently found it and it is now one of DS favorites

My Fisher Price little people circus train. I got it out of the basement and DS loves the train and animals.

Hahaha!! I agree about taking naps. They are the BEST.
I rediscovered the love of playing in the snow in the winter. Sledding, building forts, making snow angels ... that's stuff you don't do as an adult and it's just SOOO much fun to have fun in the snow with your kids.

Coloring! I love to color with my girls! And the naps are wonderful when I can get them.
