This is month 2 now that we've been trying. I was really disappointed when I didn't get pregnant right away, I was expecting to since the last time I got pregnant it was a one night thing. So.. I'm getting worried. If I don't get pregnant this month then I will starting trying ovulation tests and such but JEEZ its stressful!

I am going through the same exact thing right now!! I had my Implanon removed the 4th of October and I'm not pregnant yet, and I haven't had a period. Taken a few pregnancy tests, all come out negative. Been having some cramping the past 2 days so I'm either getting my period or could be pregnant i suppose. Last time I got pregnant on my second month of trying after I went off the pill.

It took me 3 months to get pregnant. DS was a pill baby so I had no idea how long it would take. I think the first 2 months for us were stressful, but after that we just said it will happen when it's supposed to happen and had a lot of fun trying. Enjoy yourself.

I know that this might not be much help but is really is normal for it to take anywhere between 6 months to a year to get pregnant. Ovulation tests are a great way to make sure your ovulating when you think you are, it can definitely help lower some of the stress. But the best thing is to relax and have fun

I feel ya. I was in tears the other night because I've litterally seen like 20 ppl on facebook announce they are pregnant in the past 3-4 days. It is frustrating. But I agree with tara, relax, have fun and it will come when it's supposed to.

It must mean something that so many people get pregnant on accident but then when they try it takes longer.. I know it's probably nearly impossible but try not to think about it as much I'll also think pregnant thoughts for all of you ladies!

Know that this is so common. I got pregnant right away the 1st time, the 2nd time it took 6 months. It is the hardest wait, but it will happen. I tried everything, ovulation kits (you can get a great deal on Amazon), trying to make baby every other day, what worked in the end was tracking my cycle on a calendar and I actually was able to begin to feel myself ovulate. It is much harder once you have had a kid I think. My friend is in the same boat and her dr told her the best was every other day and make sure it is on the 14th 16th and 18th day of your cycle. Best of luck!

Ok So what if I haven't had my period yet? I had my implanon removed the first week of October but still haven't gotten my period. I didn't have it at all while the implanon was in either.

Hang in there. My first kinda just happened, we weren't trying or preventing. My 2nd took 18 months. It took me a year after removing mirena, then I had a misscarriage at 5 weeks, then 6 months later I was preggo. It was super stressful for both DH and I. If I didn't get pre go that cycle, I was going to go talk to my OB.
The ovulation kits do help. If you have irregular cycles, I would recommend the 30 day supply ones. There are super cheap ones at CVS. Prolly can find them online for cheap too.

Sending pregnant thoughts to you all. Reading posts like these remind me how blessed I am with getting pregnant so easily (it's getting it to stick that's hard!) but I am praying all of you are blessed with babies ASAP!

Just relax and will happen. My first and third child were surprises. My middle child took 2 years of trying and a miscarriage. Once we relaxed it happened. I know how it feels to hear about other people getting knocked up when all you want is to have your own. It just plain sucks!! I hope everything works out for you guys!!
