DH and I are going to look at cars today but are looking for suggestions on a make/model. I currently drive his 2wd chevy silverado truck and it is AWFUL to drive in the winter, even with good tires and sandbags.
I want something that is easy to drive in the winter with the snow and ice, good gas milage, and it needs to be able to fit 2 carseats in the back.
TIA for your input!!

How about something the size of a Ford Escape? There are many options out there for that size and style if you aren't a Ford family. I LOVED my mom's Escape- it fit 3 carseats beautifully, had 4WD, tons of storage (very important for shopping trips and strollers!) She had one of the very first models and she had excellent gas milage- the newer ones are even better! She has a Jeep something (Liberty?) now and it really isn't nearly as nice to drive as the Escape was. Mercury Mariners are similar, as well. I can't think of the Chevy version right now, nor any of the others, SORRY!
