We're "helping" ds with school right now. DH had a high salary last year so he didn't qualify for any financial aid. We are loaning him the money and he can pay us back over time. I'll just add the the car repair to the tally.

Isis - have you gone in for an ultrasound or anything yet to find out how far along you are? I'd laugh if we have the same due date!

That FAFSA crap gets you with having to include parents info! I didn't have to w/ having DD already, but still didn't help much when you go to a private college. ugh!

Yep! I went to a private college and finished almost 12 years ago. I have super small loan payments and will finally be done next March....just in time to graduate from grad school and start those payments. My uncle told me not to pay off my student loan any faster than I needed to b/c it is at 3.6% which is lower than any other loan (mortgage or car) that I have so to put more money to the higher interest loans.

wherever we end up moving in the next few/4 yrs Mike is hoping to maybe start teaching at a university.. starting as adjunct and hopefully working his way up. With his degree he could easily teach business college level, then my children would have no choice but to go there for school lol
