I am thankful for the "little things" today; I did not want to get up and walk the dog; But I needed to -- for him and for me -- I am thankful for it being dark when I got up; It was so dark that could wear my one piece sleeper plaid fleece PJ's out to walk the dog; I am sure I looked like a complete dork with those, plus my daughter's sock monkey hat on, and a road side crew reflective vest over it; But who cares, no one was able to see me except the guy zipping buy in a car and delivering morning papers. Walk done so dog is happy. I can drink my coffee. Oh, and I am AGAIN thankful for my morning coffee.

Wednesday -- Thankful for the (Insert name of City) Police (Especially Officer with the Big Smile who said it was safe for me to now go into the building). Glad I was running late to my appointment. Thankful for you making that building a little safer for my client to live and for me to walk through to go see them. Thankful for all police/sheriff who put their lives on the line every single day. I hope you know that. I wish I had been able to say that to you then. But was a little too scared to verbalize that then.
Thursday -- Thankful that I just made it through my work day due to day two of a headache.
Friday -- I am thankful for my 3-day headache lifting . I have been struggling keeping up with my work and personal life because of the headache. I sometimes get this headaches (migraines) but haven't for a while to this this level. Tonight is my all-women's mini church retreat -- subject "letting go." Looking forward to it -- because I probably need whatever is going to be said or to happen during that 3 hours.

Momof3: I get headaches a lot to. Mine are tension headaches (feels like a big rubberband around my head). My husband gets migraines where it is more of a pounding headache and he starts throwing up alot. Mine can last for several days to weeks at a time. My Dr finally put me on topamax to help keep them at bay. The do tend to work when I remember to take them. You should try talking to your Dr about it.
