My daughter turned 2 in August and is both a fun and trying child right now. I've been thru this age before, with my son and the kids that I have babysat since my son was born 8 yrs ago - BUT- I had forgotten how truely challenging a 2 yr old can be. She is a beautiful, funny, intelligent child, but WOW - can she turn into a monster! Just needed to get that off my chest. Thanks!

Ours goes in weeks it seems! One week is very tiring and then the next MAYBE one meltdown a day. I get so confused lol!

3 is rough and no one warns you about it! But yes, 4 and 5 are much better.

For me 2 was nothing compared to 3.... then 4 things started to get better... Now she's 5 and still has her monster moments but overall is amazing. I really think her knowing there's a baby on the way and she's going to have a big responsibility being a big sister that she's been starting to act more 'grown up'. Hang in there hun

DD2 is 3 1/2 and has been a challenging child for at least the last 2 years. I'm hanging onto all of your words that 4 is getting better! I'm getting tired and looking forward to some easier days

When I hit those time, I tell myself, one day at a time, oh wait, no, an hour at a time, oh wait, one minute at a time (LOL) and then, "this too shall pass." Patience at this age can be hard to come by. When lose it, I let DD go in her room and do what she will until it passes.
