Been a long time since we've had a preggo lady check-in. I know we've had lots of babies recently, as well as some newcomers to the club how is everyone doing?!?!?

Well.. I guess I'll start lol Acid reflux is my nemesis at this point.. as is heartburn.. even with prescription meds, it's terrible. I feel like I should not eat or drink anything for the next 3 weeks ha. I feel like I'm underprepared.. like there is so much to do still and I am just realizing that I only have just over 3 weeks left. I don't know how to get to the hospital I'm delivering at lol... Pres and I are going to take a ride over there today (united) and try to find the "red" parking ramp; the easiest place to park according to my OB, to get to labor and delivery. I haven't packed my bags, which I've been saying I'm going to do for some time I have a lot left to buy (little things) but have been asked by my mom to wait til she gets a gift card to me from my family back in NY. Baby is running small for how far along I am and she's sitting super low and I'm dialated 1/2 cent. already.. and I bet by this Friday at my next appt I'll be dialated at least another 1/2 or 1 cent... I have an unexpected ultrasound to go to this thursday to check baby's growth and position. There is so much that should be done in terms of cleaning and organizing... but... ? lol

haha. i was waiting I feel ya with the acid reflux. i haven't been eating a whole lot lately either, and if i do it's little niblets. hopefully when baby drops it'll give more room for us to eat! I feel like I'm pretty prepared. The only thing I don't really have set to go right now is a hospital bag, which I also said I would do for a while. Even if I went today though it would not be the end of the world. Lol! You might want to get that figured out, and yes, RED ramp is the right one to go to if you're delivering there. They said our babe is running small too (20%tile) but I'm really not too concerned...she's still go some growing left to do in there. Find out tomorrow if I'm dialated at all, and see what doc says about getting my hours cut back a little. This baby is heavy on my lap all dang day! I've been trying to catch up, and keep up on cleaning. DH really helped out this weekend with some of it which was nice. I think all that's left is to just keep up the house and keep up on the laundry til baby arrives. Spent a lot of time in her room this weekend getting things organized, put away, and just overall situated.

babydd will be sleeping in our room in a bassinett like preston did for about 4-6 months, and then she'll go right into the crib like P did too. They will be sharing a room however.
I think laundry is the biggest thing here too.. the rest is just "clutter" that I try and keep up with daily. uffda.. just glad this heat has died down a bit!

We have a bassinet for her her too. but we've got the crib ready for her to share a room with DSD when we move her over. But just making sure everything else in their room is organized...whew...what a task!
I'm glad the heat is dying down too. I feel like my summer has just been a waste being either stuck inside, or just too tired to do anything. We're supposed to be going to the zoo this weekend, we'll see how that goes =/

Me!!!! I go in today to get a blood test. If I am at 5000 hcg or above then they will do an ultrasound this week so I can get a real due date :-) I am guessing I am 5 weeks and 2 or 3 days today but according to my last period and what not I could be 6.5 weeks. Pretty sure I ovulated late though.
My morning sickness has been way less with this pregnancy than my first two. My boobs hurt super bad and I am super tired and thirsty all the time. Also some acid reflux and that's about it.

I am excited to get an early ultrasound, I just heard from someone you can tell the sex of the baby by what side of the uterus the sac is in? Girls on the left and boys on the right I think? Crazy but apparently it is suppose to be 97% accurate.

That will be my only clue if I find out the side at all. We want to wait until delivery this time to find out the sex :-)

Ah. so we're no good in testing that theory lol
Well, went into the doc yesterday. I'm dialated 1cm already! no thinning or anything, but starting to get things going. My mom keeps guessing she'll be here next weekend. We'll see. It'll be interesting to see if anything happens from yestrday to next week. she's been putting a TON of pressure down there, and i'm ready to have a baby. AFTER i pack my hospital bag of course lol

It only works between week 5-9 for early ultrasound :-)
Get those bags packed ladies! So exciting! Minus the pain of labor and delivery. ick
