I read Allegiant awhile back and still not sure how I feel about the ending.
My husband forgot to cancel Amazon Prime after his free month and couldn't get it refunded so I started reading A Shade of Vampire last night and finished it this afternoon and started A Shade of Vampire 2:A Shade Of Blood tonight.

I finished reading the Vampire Academy series -- it was good! You know, a quick, easy, entertaining read, nothing too heavy -- a good escape. Good characters, fun plot.

I'm reading The Little Stranger which is historical fiction in post world war 2 England. It's quite good, by Sarah Waters whose other books I have loved. It's spooky in places, rounding out to be a ghost story of sorts I think, but I'm only about halfway through.
But I'm listening to The New Jim Crow, and about 3/4 of the way through that. If you haven't read it I REALLY REALLY REALLY recommend it. It's about how our criminal "justice" system is used to perpetuate racial persecution. I knew some of the things in it, but really had no idea about a lot of it, or how systematic and extensive it all was. Really, really - read this book.

Lean In, by Sheryl Sandberg. LOVED it, and the timing of reading it was perfect (as I look to work a new full-time job and get my career back on track!)
