I'm reading 90 Minutes in Heaven by I have no idea... my husband and I are reading it together. So far it's about a man.. a pastor that gets into a horrible car accident and describes what he sees when he first dies.

Girl, Unwrapped by Gabriella Goliger
It's about a young woman growing up in Quebec in the 60's and 70's. Her parents are Holocaust survivors and it's about her trying to find her way. They love her so much, but are just so broken and she is left with a lot of baggage.

It IS sad but it gives me such understanding of the psychological changes and understanding/denial, etc.

I can see that. Sad books can be enlightening and educational as well.

I just read (yesterday) Heaven is for Real. And it was great (as others have mentioned). I have to start the other book I got, but may wait a bit to digest it more first. The next one is The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven (this is about 6 year old boy instead of 4 year old like first book so want enough time between so I don't get then mixed up). amazing

I am reading Soul Surfer. It is about a surfer who lost her arm by a shark attack. I forget who wrote it...they made a movie out of this one.

Sharon- that sounds like an amazing book.
Amy- I have an extra copy of "Heaven is for Real." It really helped me go through my miscarriage and a lot of other things. Please message me your address. I'll send it to you as a Christmas gift. :-)

I put "Heaven is for Real" on hold at the library but I'm about 50 people back on the waiting list. I may have to go buy it and then pass it on to other people to read because it sounds amazing.
